Need to prune your landscape? Learn the basics of pruning by attending this hands-on workshop! You’ll learn why, when, and how to prune vegetation in order to maintain a healthy and beautiful landscape throughout the year.
This program is supported by the City of Chandler’s Water Conservation Department. Registration is required.
We will specifically cover:
- What is Arboriculture?
- Basics of tree and plant assessment
- When and why to make cuts on a plant
- Basic Pruning Tools
- How to properly make cuts with the tools
- Any specific questions you have
Make sure to bring your own:
- Water bottles
- Hat
- Gloves if you have them
