Passive Water Harvesting!

Come see one of our project instillations at Hello Bicycle Cafe, and we can talk through our process of site assessment, design, installation, and maintenance. This will be an informal, conversational formatted event, in which we will have intentional space to engage with and learn from each other. We will have small presentations, games, discussion questions, and Q&As throughout the timeframe.
If you are interested in getting feedback on your own space, you are welcome to bring photos, site-specific questions, and a design(s) for us to look at.
We will specifically cover:
- What is passive water harvesting, and why it is important
- The complex relationship between water, soil, and plants
- How to assess a site for passive water harvesting
- How to start creating a design for your space
- Native plants on site, their tendencies, and their benefits (if desired)
- Any specific questions you have
We’ll provide:
- wildflower seeds
- BYOB zine from Watershed Management Group
- water for people
- 1 randomly drawn lucky person will get a free drink from Hello Bicycle cafe at the end of the workshop 😉
