Pollinators & Building Habitat | Children’s Workshop

Come on out so you and your kids can learn about different native birds and pollinators of the Sonoran Desert, and different ways we can help them do their important work! We will be having a short and interactive lesson on pollinators, a song about pollinators, and 3 craft stations to build take-home habitats. This workshop is suitable for all ages and flexible/welcoming for all different learning styles and neurodivergences.
*Children’s events are included with a park admission. Members of Tohono Chul get in free. Park Admissions are as follows: · Adult: $15 · Children (5-12): $6 | Children (under 5): Free · Student (with ID): $13 · Senior (62+): $13*

Loose Workshop Timeframe:
- 1:15 Open Doors
- 1:30 Interactive lesson on native pollinators, explanation of craft stations
- 2:00 Kids can choose to start making crafts, or stay for pollinator songs and join for crafts afterwards
- 2:05 – 2:20 Pollinators songs
- 2:05 – 3:00 Craft Stations, take-home habitats
- 3:00-3:30 wrap up and clean up
